59 Annual Conference of The Unitarian Union Youths

The 59th Annual Conference of the Youths Association (Seng Samla Unitarian Union) of the Unitarian Union Northeast India was held at Mawblang, Unitarian Church Kyrdem Ribhoi District of Meghalaya on the 14th anf the 15th of April 2012.

The Conference was started with the ceremony of unfurling the Youth Wing's flag by the President of the Seng Samla Unitarian Union and followed by the Annual Board Meeting of the Youths Association

Ordination of New Minister of the Karbi Churches

Rev. D. Khriam ordained Rev. Johnson Kothar 
Rev. Darihun Khriam, Tresurer of the Unitarian Union Northeast India has on the 8 of April ordained the two new minister of the Unitarian Church in the area. Rev. Johnson Kothar who was earlier served as the Assistant Minister of the Koma Anglong Church is now being ordained as the new Minister of the three Unitarian Churches in the Karbi Anglong District of Assam. Mr. Hesh Bongrung was ordained as the new Assistant Minister to serve the Unitarian Church Langduk Anglong.

The three Churches in the Karbi Anglong viz the Unitarian Church of Longduk Anglong, the Unitarian Church of Koma Anglong and the Unitarian Church of Ziri kyndeng was ministered by late Rev. Horiwell Ingtih who passed away two years back. The team which visited the churches also comprises Rev. D.P.Pariat President of the UUNI, Rev. N. Suting General Secretary UUNI, Rev. P.G. Marbaniang Assistant General Secretary UUNI, Rev. S.Laloo Secretary FDC, Allanding M.Pdah Minister and kong Leiki Suchiang newly inducted Assistant Minister.

Unitarian Charitable Trust, Puriang donation to a family whose house was gutted



The Unitarian Charitable Trust is a Charitable Trust run by the Unitarian Church Puriang is a charitable trust which renders helping hand to the residents of the village whenever they met with crisis in their lives. On the 25th of March, members of the Trust which include Ditol Mylliemngap, Mishen Myrboh Assistant Minister Unitarian Church Puriang, Dol Kharlukhi Secretary Women’s Wing Unitarian Church, Romital Kharlukhi and Juhhi Sohtun hand over the donation of Rs. 5000/- to kong Helimai Myrboh whose house was burn to ashes in a fire incident which occurred in the afternoon of the 24th of March, 2012.
